She saw a boy struggling in the water and she immediately jumped into the water with a life－buoy. She threw it to the boy and the boy got hold of it and did his best to swim towards the beach, where Miss Rose was going all out to pull the child out of the water. The boy was saved at last. The boy shook Miss Rose's hand, saying, “Thank you so much for saving my life. Otherwise I would have been drowned.”
