A Kentucky（肯塔基）family took a vacation to New York City. One day，the father took his son into a rather large building. They were surprised at everything they saw—especially（特別地）the elevator（電梯）at one end of the building.

The boy asked，“What’s this，Pa?”

The father answered，“Son，I have never seen anything like this in my life. I don’t know what it is!”

While the boy and his father were watching in surprise，an old lady walked slowly to the moving walls and pressed（按）a button. The walls opened and the lady walked into a small room. The walls closed and the boy and his father watched small lights above the walls light up. They went on watching the lights up in the opposite direction. The walls opened again，and a beautiful young lady stepped out.

The amazed（驚愕的）father quickly turned to his son and said，“Go，get your Mom here.”
