Croatia's Dalmatian coast（達(dá)爾馬提亞海岸）is the country's best-loved place for holidays. With miles of beaches and hundreds of little islands，it's a perfect place for families and those in need of relaxation to spend their holidays.
From Zadar in the north to the Bay of Kotor in the south，there's a lot to find in the busy towns and quiet countryside. This part of Croatia has long，hot summers and not very cold winters. Between June and September，you can expect 10 to 12 hours of sunshine a day and the temperature is around 20℃.
At the northern end of the beach lies the wonderful town of Zadar，rich in history and natural beauty. If you take a boat to visit the islands，you'll find some unspoiled beaches，including Sakarun，one of the loveliest in the whole country. It's a sandy beach，and it is unusual for this part of the world.
At the heart of the old town is a Roman palace. If you visit there during the summer months for the Summer Festival，you will find that the palace yard turned into an open-air stage for opera，dance，music and theatre.
The most popular island to visit is Hvar. It has lots of family-friendly beaches，and the main town is lively and full of restaurants. It's considered to be one of the most beautiful places in Croatia.
